Attitude - my learnings from a little Gold Book

I am reading a little book called The Little Gold Book of Yes Attitude.... it is by Jeff Gitomer.

Yes a boy from Croydon CAN actually read, albeit a little slow 😃.

I am not a lover of reading but I do appreciate learning and sharing things that resonate with me and that I know could help others. Maybe even you...?
I tend to listen to audio books instead.
But right now I'm reading, appreciating and sharing!!
In our business we talk about having the right ATTITUDE if you want to be more successful. I often talk about the "Top 20" as being the place you should be if you want to be successful.
Without doubt your ATTITUDE can make or break YOUR success in business and life.
This book is all about attitude and while we all have a good appreciation of what "attitude" means, but do you actually think, reflect and take action to improve your attitude?
You have the choice to learn, change, adapt and improve. But, it is up to you.
And if you find yourself saying "I can't change" or "this crap isn't for me" then you are limiting your success.
I recommend this book to read but I am also going to share some of the contents with you....
I was particularly taken with How Negative thoughts and feelings can (and do) have an impact on you and other around you, thus creating a negative ATTITUDE.......
  1. They drain your energy
  2. They BLOCK positive thought
  3. They cause stress
  4. They cause worry
  5. They cause illness
  6. They BLOCK creative thought
  7. They cause errors
  8. They reduce productivity
  9. They cause anger
  10. They prolong painful situations
  11. They affect the way you listen to others
  12. They affect the way you communicate with others
  13. The affect the way you deal with others
  14. They take the fun out of your life
We are all human and suffer highs and lows everyday but the sooner we start to really appreciate and understand how our negative feelings and reactions to situations (and other people) CAUSES US MORE HARM... then maybe we can all CHANGE to a POSITIVE ATTITUDE and outlook MORE of the time.
I'll share some more from the book on my next post.
